Dear R.E. Teacher / Chaplain,
Friday’s post contained links to the Advent Resources on our website and I just want to highlight another resource from Busted Halo which you might like to use during Advent. The Busted Halo Advent Surprise Calendar will start working each day during Advent, leading to a special Advent-themed Daily Jolt, with an opportunity for reflection and a microChallenge. Some of the reflections come from unlikely sources, and the challenges help you to take an action, usually a small one, based on the reflection.
Also new on the website this week are the following resources:
November 25th: Feast of Christ the King: A short reflection on the feast of Christ the King.
December 1st: World Aids Day: A variety of resources including prayer services to use with R.E. classes to mark World Aids Day 2012.
I.C.T. & R.E.: Including a list of useful wbsites for R.E. resources, list of 16 Catholic iPhone Apps and a YouTube Playlist of I.C.T. tutorials to assist you in using technology in your R.E. classes.
