Whycare?
The Jesuit Centre for Faith & Justice website http://www.whycare.ie/ has been entered in the Better Together Video Competition. WhyCare? is an online educational resource which aims to familiarise young people with issues relating to social justice like homelessness, poverty and inequality, and crime and prison. It also tries to encourage young people to take action in the community. They have entered their excellent lego style two minute video about WhyCare? in the competition. Trocaire
Trad for Trócaire 2012 runs from 4th – 10th October and this year they are aiming for a record breaking 500 sessions! Since it began in 2010, over 700 Trad for Trócaire sessions have taken place in Ireland, the UK and the USA with support from Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann.
