May 7th, 2013

Dear R.E. Teacher / Chaplain,

I hope you had an enjoyable bank holiday weekend and I’ve added some new resources to our website to help you get through the final couple of teaching weeks. Also below are details about a chaplaincy vacancy in Rosmini Community School.

Peace Resources: The Gospel last Sunday was John 14:23-29 where Jesus gives us peace, a peace that the world cannot give. And with this peace in our hearts, we are called to keep his word. On the Peace Resources page you will find a YouTube video reflection on this piece of scripture and also various resources for teaching about peace.

May 12th: Ascension Sunday: This Thursday is Ascension Day which is celebrated next Sunday. I have put together a page of resources with two useful short video explanations of Ascension Day.
